About Me

Scott Rubén La Marca is a Vocal Fellow alumnus of Yale Opera at Yale University, whose artistry is deeply rooted in his Latino and Italian heritage. His upcoming engagements include the Berkshire Opera Festival’s 2026 summer season, where he will perform the role of Azor in Zémire et Azor by Grétry in July, as well as the role of Normanno in Lucia di Lammermoor in August. In the fall of 2026, Scott will sing the role of Pong in Turandot with Daegu Opera in South Korea.

His diverse repertoire spans from Baroque and contemporary works to the Great American Songbook, with notable recent performances including Prologue & Peter Quint in Britten’s, The Turn of the Screw and Ferrando in Così fan tutte with Yale Opera, as well as the premiere of Christopher Theofanidis’ Siddhartha, She at the Aspen Music Festival.

Scott has participated in the Schwab Vocal Rising Stars residency and performed with the New York Festival of Song, the Aspen Festival Orchestra, and the Yale Philharmonia. Beyond his vocal career, he is a visual artist who also studied at the Pratt Institute
